What We Do . . .
CHIPs partners local employers with diverse, local talent through a 12 week internship program. The program provides interns with hands-on experience & the chance to develop industry-specific skills. The program allows interns to actively engage in company culture and activities and to make priceless connections with industry professionals.
The base pay for interns starts at $15 an hour, with a 15-20 hour work week. Grant assistance may be available for companies who cannot meet the hourly rate minimum.
Our Vision
Create pathways toward success for underemployed Black and Brown people in our community to keep more money local while also encouraging disadvantaged residents to take pride and ownership in their neighborhoods and their city. To develop a power structure for Black and Brown communities in Hamilton that can advance an agenda of equity through increased entrepreneurship, leadership, and career advancement.
